The one thing that stood out crazy was the soda wall you get to pick from. They had all types of soda and you just grab the one you want from like 3 full coolers. Service was good walked and ordered had my wing meal in about 15mins. Frys had this salt that was really addicting on them.

Came here for the first time to grab lunch for me and my coworkers not too long ago after seeing all the good reviews and I was not let down. I didn't call in my order so it took about 20 minutes for them to make it, but it was worth the wait. The portions are huge for the price and the food is amazing!! I got the catfish nugget combo meal and it was some of the best catfish I've had in a long time. I will definitely be going back to this hole in the wall shop for more food!

Food was flavorful and fried stuff was nice and crispy! Good portion sizes minus the cheese sauce upgrade and the amount of beef on the nachos.

OMG I'm stuffed! I wanted fish and wanted someplace close to home. After checking a couple of websites on Yelp, I remembered Pop's Kitchen on St. Charles Rock Road. I called in order for fish and chicken wings. It also includes and a soda for$9.99 # 17 on the menu. I'll be back for sure

I was pleasantly surprised about the service and the food. I got the lunch special, which is more than enough for even dinner. The people who work there were really nice, and I loved the personality of the man who was actually doing the cooking. I will go back. Call in advance and still expect a short wait, which is my only criticism. [Oct. 2017 update] The owner and the men behind the counter are wonderful. There is another young woman who generally works in the evening who is amazing and who has a lovely personality. However, there is a young woman who works during the day and she has the worst personality. They keep her on though she is rude, and because they keep her, I decided to stop buying food from them. And that's a shame because the food is really good but I don't pay to be abused.

Found out about this place thru the grapevine and oh yea! Heard about the lunch specials, so some friends and I decided to check it out. 1st off, this place is located inside Unique Mart, so you can get Liquor, Snacks, Greetings Cards and Freshly Cooked food all in 1 spot. So convenient! 11a to 2p, $5 lunch specials are available. Specials come with fries and a 12oz canned drink of your choice...For 5 Dollars! 2 of us went with the Philly, 2 went with the 6pc whole wings, 1 person 2pc catfish fillets. All the food was awesome! Cooked and Seasoned well. The value and quality of the food for the price, we were so impressed. Philly had the perfect meat to cheese to bread ratio. The bread was fresh and soft. Wings nice and crisp...did I mention they are whole wings! Catfish not overcooked and not overseasoned. We have found a new Sat lunch spot. Since they are a mart, your food has to be to go, but it's good and hot. Wait time about 15 to 20 min from your order. Call ins are welcome.
